Making nutrition your ally after cancer treatment - FREE WORKSHOP 2025

Nutrition can be daunting – especially after cancer treatment. That’s why Inova Schar Cancer and Inova Peterson Life with Cancer have created a workshop specifically to address this evolving issue for individuals who are hungry to learn more about nutrition.

Please join us on Sept. 13, 2025 for a program developed specifically for the Inova community. World-class nutrition leaders from across the country will join with the nutrition experts at Inova to share practical advice on some of the most popular questions we receive. This includes:

● Calming food fears and identifying misinformation

● Using AI to make healthier meals easier

● Understanding the vital roles of lean muscle mass in health

● Moving veggies from “should” to “yum”

● Harnessing the power of calorie density

● Nurturing healthy heart & bones after cancer

Educational sessions will be supplemented by a robust Q&A, multiple food demonstrations, mental and physical recovery practices, fellowship with cancer survivors, and goal setting to establish and track personal goals for behavior change in the future.

A light breakfast, healthful lunch and closing mocktail reception are included.
