About this Event
Join us for a creative energy boost at Making Moves, a community art party. Dance on the High Line to a live DJ lineup with Saint James Joy and more, move with New Victory Theater, groove alongside collaborative art activities led by High Line Teaching Artists. Explore hands-on activities with community partner Infirnity, or simply vibe to the music. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the creative magic—there is something for everyone.
Art activities are designed primarily for kids ages 6-10, and all ages and abilities are welcome. We require caregivers to supervise their children at all times during the event. We will have visual instructions, tactile materials, and skilled facilitators to welcome visitors with disabilities. Instruction is primarily in English. Speakers of all languages can still participate and enjoy the art making due to the nature of the program.
