Four week course on Mondays in February
Ease into February with this four week introduction to the basics of hand stitching and embroidery. Learn four basic but versatile stitches and learn the skills to create unique and personal projects. While we stitch, we will also look at examples of historical and contemporary approaches to textile arts and crafts.

Your tutor, Janice Botterill, makes drawings, collages and quilts using embroidery and textiles. Working towards a sustainable and zero-waste practice, she uses vintage and re-purposed fabrics and threads as much as possible and you can see more of her work on Instagram @slowquietwork.
