Luke Swinney, a Casting Producer for NBC’s America’s Got Talent, attended Alternating Currents for the first time in 2024 and was so struck by the festival’s energy and talent that he’s returned this year to scout new acts. Filmmaker Andrey Arkhipov will offer a behind-the-lens perspective on capturing the heart of this community through storytelling. Together, the panel will explore how local grit, regional pride and shared creative vision turned a hometown festival into a movement that’s now on the radar of national industry leaders.
