The Magic of Milk: Cold Process Soap Making
Unlock the secrets to creamy, skin-loving soaps.
Join the soap-making and goat-loving experts at Maker’s Apothecary for an immersive, two-part workshop! While goat milk is our star ingredient for its incredible moisturizing properties, this class is about so much more than just one recipe.
You’ll master the specialized "know-how" required to work with delicate ingredients. The techniques you learn here are a gateway to endless creativity—once you’ve mastered goat milk, you’ll be able to confidently swap it for any milk (like coconut or almond) or even high-sugar liquids like craft beer and fruit juices for truly unique suds!
What’s Included:
Custom Design: Blend your own signature scent from our fragrance library.
Hands-on Learning: We provide all supplies and safety gear.
The Bounty: Take home 9 generous bars of your own handcrafted soap.
Schedule:
Day 1 (2 Hours): The "Make" Session. We’ll mix, pour, and learn the science of the craft.
Day 2 (1 Hour): The "Finish" Session. We’ll unmold, cut, and prep your bars for curing.
Bonus: Enjoy a 15% discount on any shop finds the day of your class!
The Fine Print
Age Requirement: 18+ only. Due to insurance regulations and the use of caustic materials, we cannot accommodate minors in our soap-making workshops.
Registration: Space is limited; only paid participants may attend.
Policies: Workshop fees are non-refundable. You may reschedule once for free with at least 48 hours' notice. Subsequent rescheduling incurs a $25 fee. Failure to attend or provide notice results in the forfeiture of fees.
Cancellations: If Maker's Apothecary must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you via the email or phone number provided.
