About this Event
Making a Native Christmas Wreath
Thursday 5 December 10am-12pm
Get involved in the Christmas spirit out at the Community Environment Centre and make your own native Christmas wreath! Native plants have a huge range of colours and textures and look beautiful as dried cuttings and as decorative plants. Bring your own native plant cuttings or use some native cuttings from our gardens to decorate and create your own recycled Christmas wreath. Native cuttings form into nice, dried flower arrangements which will be a unique and special piece for Christmas.
Location and Parking: The Community Environment Centre is located on Currie Avenue of Annangrove Road, Annangrove. The Centre is found at the rear of Annangrove Park in the car park. The workshop will be conducted in Annangrove Hall next to the centre and outside in the gardens.
What to Bring: Please wear a hat, enclosed shoes, long pants, and sunscreen as part of this workshop will take place outside in the gardens. Please bring your own native plant cuttings, decorations and secateurs if you have them.
Important Information: Workshops are only available to residents of The Hills Shire. Please note a ticket must be booked per person that attends. One ticket can’t be used for multiple people e.g. a family. This workshop is recommended for adults, families, and children over 5 years.
Please note we have limited numbers for this workshop. If you book a spot and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking with as much notice as possible so you are not taking up a spot for someone else. We have an active waitlist.
