Join us as we welcome Dr. Janet Watson to deliver a talk about the involvement of the Greek gods and goddesses in Homer's Iliad. Dr. Watson was Tutor in Classical Greek at Newcastle University, and is recently retired. She specialised in the Homeric epics and in particular the intersection of orality and literacy in the Ancient World.
