About this Event
The Midlands Child Death Review Network would like to invite you to save the date for their upcoming conference Making a Difference: Learning from Adolescent Deaths.
The programme aims to includes:
- When an adolescent dies suddenly - Joint Agency Response
- Suicide prevention - Forward Thinking Birmingham
- A bereaved parents story
- Well-being support for CDR professionals
- Key Learning from NCMD
- Adolescent deaths and risk taking behaviours
- Postvention - Intervention following suicide
Delegate -The event is aimed at any professional working with bereaved families or reviewing child deaths: police, coroners, social care, nurses, doctors and safeguarding professionals.
When and where? Thursday 15th June 2023, The Studio, Cannon Street, Birmingham or by virtual link.

This event has been funded by NHSE Midlands - Free tickets are open to Midlands regional colleagues only and we do request you inform us at checkout of your current organisation and role within CDR.
Please note spaces on this event are limited and as such we would request your cancellation should you find yourself unable to attend.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
A full refund will be given providing you give 4 weeks notice prior to the event. After this time, the following terms apply:
Notice given between 4-2 weeks will be considered on a case by case basis by agreement of the committee only
2 weeks or less strictly no refund will be offered
