Making a Chest Binder Pattern x Oakland

In this workshop, participants will learn to collect measurements needed to create a chest binder, then use those measurements to draft a custom binder pattern. Participants will also review suggested fabrics/notions and construction techniques. Participants will leave with a pattern to sew their own binder; binders will not be sewn during the workshop.

Noah Riley has been making clothes for himself, loved ones, and community members for the better part of the past 15 years. He loves using knits and his serger to construct comfortable, expressive pieces!
