“What We Carry” / “Lo Que Cargamos”
Inspired by the themes of LA QUE SOY, this workshop invites participants to engage in a layered process of print and personal expression. Participants will pull screenprints from three pre-designed stencils created by the artist, then build upon them through drawing, collage, and mixed-media interventions.
These compositions serve as a starting point for exploring the objects, memories, and inherited stories we carry—physically, spiritually, emotionally, and culturally—encouraging each participant to create a work that reflects their evolving sense of self.
Participant size: 15 max at a time but open to do drop by
All ages welcome. No prior experience necessary.
OUTDOORS, weather permitting!
I will bring my screenprinting cart, set it up outside in the adjacent area by the entrance, and have tables set up for individuals to sit and create after they have pulled their prints.
