Makers Arcade Spring Fair at Balboa Park

The makes its Balboa Park debut on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., bringing this beloved handmade festival to one of San Diego’s most iconic cultural destinations for the very first time. Join us for a vibrant, open-air celebration of the best handmade crafts and independent artists in Southern California.

This thoughtfully curated festival features 120+ local makers, artists, and creative small businesses, offering high-quality, locally made goods including jewelry, ceramics, home décor, textiles, apparel, original artwork, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Every purchase directly supports our regional creative economy.

Enjoy a lively weekend filled with food trucks, beer, cocktails, and mocktails, live music, interactive art installations, photo booths, and hands-on make-and-take craft stations for all ages—all set within the scenic grounds of Balboa Park.

Kids 12 and under are free all weekend and will receive a filled Easter egg at entry. Shoppers will earn prize tickets with purchases, redeemable for giveaways, and select Makers Arcade tote bags will include hidden golden tickets for special prize packs.

Admission is $5 for adults, with free entry for kids 12 and under. Proceeds support San Diego Made, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting artists, makers, and independent small businesses.
