Makers 6 Week Workshop, Stained Glass Class

3hr sessions available on Wednsdays 6 to 9pm earlier hours available upon request. This class is $300, your ticket today is a non refundable registration fee. you will pay balance of $200 at class. 1st project will be a small window panel of 25 pcs or less. Multiple patterns to choose from or create your own. You are welcome to make projects of your choise after 1st panel is completed. All supplies and use of tools included. should project leave studio you will need to purchase supplies or tools needed. Additional glass is avilable for 20%off if needed. We do have student glass however colors and sizes are limitted. Below is a list of skills you will be learning in your 6 sessions. You will be assigned your own personal work station for the 6 sessions. We ask you complete your 6 Wednsdays in 8 weeks.

• Pattern creating, how to apply, use of pattern shears
• Glass cutting/scoring, how to use a glass cutter
• tips and tricks on glass breaking techniques, tapping, scoring, grozers, breaker pliers
• Tiffany methos, how to apply copper foil tape, how to use burnishing tools. different sizes and backing of copper foil tapes
• Soldering and different types of solder
• framing with lead or zinc
• how to apply hangers
• cleaning and waxing your pieces
• patinas, how and when to use them
• how to use the esential tools and maintain them
