Join the Clyfford Still Museum from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, for a free, hands-on family artmaking program outside the Museum. Maker Mornings programs are designed for children ages 15 months to eight years old, with siblings of any age welcome. We’ll begin with a bilingual storytime with a children’s librarian from Denver Public Libraries, then we’ll take time to explore various natural materials, expand our ideas of what it means to create, and express ourselves through art. Participants can create a nature collage, paint with naturally pigmented paints, or find their own materials on our forecourt lawn. The possibilities are endless!
The open-endedness of this time is intentional, allowing all children to interact with the provocations in their own unique way. We encourage you to observe what your child gravitates towards, ask questions, and get curious!
No registration is required for summer Maker Mornings; walk-ins are welcome, drop in anytime during the program!
