Make things, friends & memories!

Have your child spend their summer break meeting new friends & learning tech skills at The Maker Bean Cafe at 1052 Bloor St. West! Using tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers & wood-working tools, and with 1 laptop per child, your children will create something straight out of their imaginations!

Safety of your children & our staff is our #1 priority at The Maker Bean. We’ve implemented strict safety precautions, including mandatory masks for kids and facilitators, large-room HEPA air purifier, limiting camp sizes, daily temperature screening and daily sanitizing of all equipment & surfaces.

Kids also head outdoors for at least 1.5 hours per day to Dufferin Grove Park for active games & fresh air.

5-day week (Mon-Fri, 9-4): $545

4-day week: $445(for Aug 2-5 week, as Aug 1 is a holiday in Ontario)

Camp schedule

Week 1: Powered By Girls Tech Camp (July 4 - July 8)

Explore the wonderful world of tech and imagination in a girl-positive environment! They'll work together to build a tech project that focuses on solving a real-world problem, and present it at the end of the week to parents.

Week 2: Maker Tech Skills (July 11 - 15, 5 days)

Learn and develop a variety of skills to create awesome projects that kids can take home with them: kids will learn skills across a variety of topics, such as 2D & 3D modelling, laser cutting & 3D printing, coding and robotics; for beginners & experienced kids alike!

Week 3: Minecraft Pro (July 18 - 22, 5 days)

Whether a beginner or experienced Minecraft player, expand your kids' skills with this creative, learning-filled game. From designing new worlds, to collaborating with others on in-game tasks, to laser cutting & 3D printing custom items from the game, they'll love every Minecraft-filled minute!

Week 4: Maker Tech Skills (Aug 2 - 5, 4 days - Aug 1 is a holiday in Ontario)

Learn and develop a variety of skills to create awesome projects that kids can take home with them: kids will learn skills across a variety of topics, such as 2D & 3D modelling, laser cutting & 3D printing, coding and robotics; for beginners & experienced kids alike!

Week 5: Minecraft Pro (Aug 8 - 12 , 5 days)

Whether a beginner or experienced Minecraft player, expand your kids' skills with this creative, learning-filled game. From designing new worlds, to collaborating with others on in-game tasks, to laser cutting & 3D printing custom items from the game, they'll love every Minecraft-filled minute!
