Make Your Own Yule Monster Workshop

Ready to go where the holiday wild things are? Bring your darkest Yuletide imaginings to life in our 'Make Your Own Yule Monster' craft class! This is the bizarre meets the adorable as you design and create your very own Yule monster companions. From fuzzy to ferocious, the only limit is your own shadowy imagination!

We will explore the 13 unmerriest monsters of the season, including Krampus, Yule Cat, the Christmas Vampires, and other figures of seasonal judgement. Your creature will morph into existence in self-drying clay and be decorated in holiday glory with accessories and other goodies.. This hands-on experience promises monstrous fun for all who dare to join in... no special skills or experience required, we will teach you how to do it!

Workshop is led by Bohemian House artists Blue and Rissa.

Best for guests age 12 and up, but you know your child best. Appropriate for all gender identities.

Parking is available/free on-street or in any of the Ellicott City lots. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk to the location at Bohemian House, 8320 Main St, Ellicott City, MD 21043.

Restrooms are available on-site.Food and drinks are not included, however, Georgia Grace is across the street with coffee, tea, and baked goods with vegetarian and gluten-free options. There are many other dining options in Ellicott City as well.

Refunds are only available until 3 days before the event. At that time, all sales are final, as supplies will be purchased and kits assembled in advance. If you cannot attend for any reason after that time, please give your ticket to a friend.

The event would only be canceled in case of severe rain or storms. Please check your email associated with your Eventbrite account. Event is indoors and will go on in rain, however should Howard County determine rain or storms may be hazards, we will follow all regulations about shutting down the event for safety. If that is the case, the event will be rescheduled when the weather permits and you will get an EMAIL at the same email address you used to sign up for the event.
