In this drop-in workshop, you will learn how to decorate a rustic piece of wood with all the trimmings. The Yule Log has its origins in ancient Norse and Celtic winter solstice traditions, symbolizing the sun's rebirth and the promise of longer, brighter days ahead. Its flames were thought to embody light, energy, and protection from evil spirits during the year's darkest period.
All supplies for this program are provided for this free program. Registration is required because supplies are limited. Recommended for ages 8+ but all children should be supervised by an adult.
