GlassRoots, Newark's Glass Art Center is offering a Make Your Own Wine Stopper class for Garden State Art Weekend!

In this quick one-hour class, you will learn the basics of flameworking by melting colorful rods into unique glass beads using a table torch. You’ll then assemble the beads into a usable wine stopper. This is a great glassmaking class for beginners and you get to use your original glass wine stopper at home or gift it to wine enthusiast.
