Make your own pinhole camera workshop!

Join us for a unique and exciting workshop where we'll explore the captivating world of pinhole photography! This hands-on experience is perfect for children and adults alike, offering a fun and educational adventure into the basics of photography without the need for a fancy camera.

What to Expect in the Workshop:

• Build Your Own Pinhole Camera: Using everyday materials, we'll guide you in creating your own working pinhole camera. This hands-on activity is a fantastic way for families to bond and work together.
• Capture Your World: Once your camera is ready, we'll venture outside to capture stunning images. Watch as everyday scenes transform into magical photographic experiements.
• Develop Your Photos: Experience the wonders of analouge photogrpahy as we develop the photos together.

By the end of the workshop you will be left not only with some marvelous creations that you can show your firends and family but also your very own pinhole camera that you can take away and carry on discovering its magic!
This workshop is open to all ages. If the particpant is under 16 they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the entirity of the workshop, but please only book a space for the participant.

Tom Doubtfire is a local artist whose work ranges from sculpture to film. Having worked with numerous community projects around Liverpool to deliver workshops, he aims to share his practice and techniques with participants in an accesible and fun way.

Kitty’s Launderette is a community launderette and social hub based in Anfield/Everton. We aim to use our space to facilitate a place for people to gather, talk and learn. This event is a part of our "Creating Connections at Kitty's" events programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund
