About this Event
This workshop will provide an overview of different fertilizer and composting methods and explore the history of fermented plant juices, a process that originated in Korea and Japan. Jasmine will walk through how to make these valuable fertilizers for use in your own farm or garden and when and how to apply them to the soil!
Get to Know Your Instuctor:
Jasmine Herndon was born and raised here in the swats of Atlanta, Georgia. With a Bachelors in Chemistry, it was an easy transition to start her farming journey. Once she graduated from college and started playing around in soil, Jasmine realized the great outdoors is where she wanted to be. She enjoys providing healthy / nutrient dense food for the community in various ways such as farming, farmers markets, and garden educational classes. Additionally, she loves teaching people on my farm about organic gardening and holistic herbal remedies .
