MAKE YOUR OWN KNOTTED HEADBAND

Join Nativemix Store for a creative evening of sewing at the Good Shepherd Studios in Leytonstone where we'll be teaching a Headband Making Workshop. The workshop is a great opportunity to add a unique touch to your outfit by making a headband of your very own. It aims to teach you traditional sewing skills so you can keep on creating long after the workshop.

When and where: This workshop will be held at Good Shepherd Studios, 15A Davies Lane, Leytonstone, London E11 3DR, on Wednesday 21st December at 6:00pm - 8.30pm. The duration of the workshop is 2 hours and there are 8 spaces available. (Free for 2 people on low/no income).

What should I expect? The workshop is a hand sewing class suitable for both beginners and those more experienced. Not all of us have a sewing machine at home so this class is designed to teach you how to create a beautifully made accessory using hand sewing skills alone. The session will be held by Adanma Wokoh founder of Nativemix Store who will guide you through the making process demonstrating each step.

What should I bring? Nothing! Just bring your lovely selves and we’ll supply the rest. There’ll be a range of beautiful fabrics for you to choose from on the day and scissors, metal wires and sewing essentials will be supplied. Along with this, to get you in the spirit for a fun evening of sewing there’ll be a glass of bubbly and some cake!
