About this Event

The art of glass fusing involves bonding distinct shards together using the intense heat of a kiln, a method surprisingly similar to standard baking. It is a welcoming and meditative craft that allows your imagination to run wild. In our Glen Burnie-based studio, students explore a huge range of glass sheets, stringers, and rods. Every participant learns how to cut and shape these components before arranging them on a base for firing. The heat then seamlessly merges every element into a singular, beautiful work of art.
