Join award-winning designer/maker Kate Colin and learn how to fold three unique origami designs that will be transformed into a delicate hanging mobile. Using simple folding techniques and found materials, you will explore the possibilities of paper to create a playful and original piece of craft. Date: Sunday 12 October 2025

Kate will guide you through each step of the process, from mastering folds to designing and assembling your mobile with collected sticks and origami pieces. There is plenty of room for creativity, as you can adapt your design to suit your style and add embellishments such as beads, feathers, shells, pinecones, or leaves. No prior experience is required, only a willingness to try out something new.
Take home your very own mobile and new-found skills in paper folding. This session is suitable for all ages and abilities, and will equip you with the skills to continue exploring paper folding at home.
All tools and essential materials will be provided, however, you can bring your own objects such as beads or natural objects to incorporate into the finished pieces.
Spaces are limited so it is recommended to book in advance.
Kate Colin is a Glasgow-based designer/maker who has collaborated with international brands including Prada, Burberry, and TOAST, alongside private clients and interior designers.
