Make Your Own Festive Hardbound Notebooks with Abbie Mooney

In this festive bookbinding workshop, you will create your very own hardbound journal using traditional techniques, perfect for gifting to loved ones as notebooks or mini photo-albums.

You will be guided step-by-step through pamphlet stitch and decorative hard-bound covers, with plenty of time to develop your skills and knowledge in a small group.

This technique lends itself perfectly to using old wrapping papers, artworks or other decorative papers you may have around to produce your hardcovers, so feel free to bring some along with you and Abbie can advise if these are suitable for bookbinding. Decorative papers will be provided for everyone so don’t worry if you don’t have anything to bring.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and you will leave the workshop with helpful guides to make your own books at home.
