The Vrinda Valley Community Garden, is located on the grounds of the Sacred India Gallery, in Bennett Springs. For the past three years, we have lovingly and mindfully tended to our community garden; carefully observing and following the garden’s guidance in creating living soil and building a garden culture of regeneration and renewal. Where there was once a space of white infertile sand, we now have soil full of life through constant regeneration of organic matter and top soil protection. We feel it is time to share some of the things we have learnt from our garden during these past three years. This FREE workshop has been made possible by the funding we kindly received from the City of Swan
MAKE YOUR OWN FERTILISER
Worm Compost Liquid Ferment and Natural Farming Method
Sat 12th October, 10am-1pm, Workshop + Lunch*
Fertilisers are getting more expensive and the conventional ones can cause soil degradation and waterway pollution.
In this workshop we will demonstrate liquid feed made from elements found in your garden which work with your soil biology to grow healthy plants.
• How do plants eat and what is their relationship with soil microorganisms
• Worm castings, extracts and ferments
• Natural Farming practices using your garden refuse.
