We a happy to welcome Lisa Miccio to the Rotterdam Community Center. She will be offering a unique and engaging workshop opportunity, A Make Your Own Chunky Blanket Class! As hand made decor continues to rise in popularity, this class provides a fun, hands on experience where participants create their very own cozy chunky knit blanket. No prior knitting experience necessary. During the class, she will provide step by step instruction to ensure everyone leaves with a beautiful finished blanket and a memorable experience. This workshop has been highly enjoyed by groups looking for creative activities, and it pairs wonderfully with community events, craft nights, or boutique promotions. Price is $80 per participant IF Lisa supplies the yarn. If you supply your OWN yarn (MUST BE #7 CHUNKY YARN AVAILABLE AT HOBBY LOBBY ON SALE EVERY OTHER WEEK OR AVAILABLE AT MICHAELS ALSO ON SALE EVERY OTHER WEEK) then your cost is only $45 for the class and written materials. Lisa can supply all the yarn needed for each participant and all printed materials to take home to make one on your own. Class will be about 2-3 hours long.
