Make Your Own Card Class - January 2026
Schedule
Sat Jan 17 2026 at 11:30 am to 01:30 pm
UTC-07:00Location
Centennial Park Library | Greeley, CO
Well, come and learn how to make handmade cards from me -- Becca from Feather & Pine!
This class will cover the basics -- where to start, how to start, and what to do next. We are keeping it very simple with this one.
You will need to bring some of your own supplies to this class. (Consider it homework.)
You need to go to your local craft store aisle (this could be digital) and choose some pretty paper that speaks to you. I recommend getting a paper pack so that you get a variety and get one that is at least 6x6, but I recommend at least one piece of patterned paper and one piece of coordinating plain paper, so if your local craft store sells loose 12x12 sheets, that works great too!
You will need to bring any embellishments that you would like to add, like ribbon, die cut words/images, gems, etc. (If you don't want to use any, that's completely fine!)
And the last thing that is required is inspiration. This could be as simple as "I want to make a birthday card" or it could be a couple of photos from cards you've seen (either in the store or online) that you like the style of. (NOTE: we will not be copying the cards that you've seen, but we can use them as inspiration.)
I will provide:
-card bases with envelopes
-paper trimmers
-scissors
-adhesives (double sided tape, glue, and foam dimensionals)
-some stamps and inks
-guidance on how to get you from blank card to finished product.
Because this is a semi-personalized class, registration is limited to 8 participants.
And because I am using some of my own supplies for this class, I am charging a small amount for attendance.
