Who says only sport fanatics can have trading cards??
The Artist Trading Card was developed in 1997 as a Collaborative Cultural Performance. Like trading cards these are the same 2.5 by 3.5 inches where individuals can create series or unique works of art that are not sold but rather traded amongst artists and collectors.
Our beloved Cindy, better known from our Junk Journal Club, introduced us to this art form this year as a way to challenge herself and work more intentionally at a smaller scale. Since, she has been producing one of a kind Now or Never themed cards each month for Junk Journalers to add to their journals or collect.
We invite you to Cindy's first workshop as shares the many possibilites this artform can hold. Whether its challenging your creativity, allowing yourself to use up our or your collaging scraps, or simply a fun trading item, we invite all ideas to thrive this evening.
Each guest will get 3 [2.5 by 3.5 inches] cards to create their own individual works of art. We encourage you to make 2 to share and 1 to keep! More cards are also avaliable.
All the supplies will be provided as well as inspo and examples!
