About the Speaker

Kevin Rinker got his start in radio as a high-school freshman way back in 2003 on KTCV in Kennewick, Washington. He got his start in public radio as a college freshman way back in 2008 at Northwest Public Broadcasting. Kevin moved to Atlanta way back in 2014 and has worked at WABE ever since, becoming a podcast producer in 2023. He currently produces “The Boom,” “Just Sat with Max Hines,” “Calls for Justice,” and hosts “The WABE Podcast Sampler.”
