Make Your First Dress – Beginner-Friendly Sewing Workshop 🧵✨
Whether you've never touched a sewing machine, know the basics, or used to sew and want to refresh your skills, this hands-on 4-hour workshop will guide you through making your own knee-length raglan dress from start to finish.
Meet Your Tutor
Raheemat is a dressmaker and founder of Sew-Madame, with over 14 years of experience in fashion design and garment construction and almost a decade of sewing tuition.
Her professional experience includes working on pieces worn at the Cannes Film Festival and New York Fashion Week, pieces sold through BHLDN by Anthropologie (USA), and sewing work for luxury fashion house Chanel. Alongside her industry experience, she has taught sewing to adults and young people across London and has received numerous 5-star reviews from her Superprof students.

You'll learn or refresh essential sewing skills including taking measurements, adapting a pattern to your measurements, cutting fabric, confidently using a sewing machine, garment construction and professional finishing techniques.
