Make you Own Fused Glass Christmas Tree Decorations

Join Ruth in this relaxed and creative session where you will learn how to make small fused glass decorations to go on a Christmas tree!
About this Event

In this 3 hour workshop with Ruth Garbutt you will learn how to create glass ornaments for a christmas tree with fused glass. Come home with a selection of beautiful homemade Christmas decorations for your tree! A perfect gift for the holidays.

Learn how to cut a square of backing glass, and how to prepare small pieces of glass to stick on the backing glass to create pretty Christmas decorations. You will also learn about how to apply a wire to the back to hang the decoration.

This class is suitable for beginners and also those with some experience.

All materials will be provided!

Please note that after the class, your decorations will need to be fired in a kiln, so you won't be able to take the finished decorations straight away with you on the day. Once they have been fired in a kiln, we will contact you to arrange your decorations to be collected from Swarthmore Education Centre.
