Make Simple Serving Tray

This simple project is a great way to get started in woodworking. You will be exposed to several different wood species. You will get to operate a couple of different power tools to cut out the tray. You will learn how to do a glue-up assembly, which is something that you would use in a lot of different woodworking projects. We will discuss several different methods of finishing your serving tray at the end of the class. All materials will be included in the class, except for the finish. Students have the option of providing their own personal ear and eye protection or it can be provided.
