Take part to a vibrant celebration of music and culture, organized in partnership with the 124 street Business Association! The unavoidable Alliance Française of Edmonton and 124th street summer launch event!
?About Make Music Edmonton: it is an electrifying celebration of music, culture, and community. It’s a day where the 124th street comes alive with the sounds of talented musicians from diverse backgrounds.
?Musicians: either Francophones, French, Canadian or from another country, passionate artists from all genres – jazz, rock, classical, folk, hip-hop - will perform!
?A bit of history: in June, in France, we celebrate "Make Music Day" every June 21st! The "Fête de la Musique" started in 1982 at the initiative of Jack Lang, French Minister of Culture at the time. This free and popular event promotes live music, both amateur and professional, of all styles and genres.
Look forward to live music all along 124 Street & Area by a variety of musicians! There will also be mural activations by Mural fest in two locations, as well as Chalk 124 Street happening on the same day! Make a day out of it! Spend the day with your family and friends, and enjoy a day full of live music, art, and everything 124 Street & Area has to offer from patios to local boutiques!
