The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton joins the Make Music Day local celebration with an outdoor Musical Sing-Along featuring live music on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to join in this fun, interactive program - bring your singing voices and your enthusiasm! A rain day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23. Call the library at 860-445-0392 or check our Facebook page in case of inclement weather for updates.Make Music Day is a one-day event where free, live musical performances, opportunities to make music, and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. Musical festivities at the library are part of a global celebration of music making in over 1,000 cities inspired by France’s Fête de la Musique.
Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.; Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.; and Saturday, 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Our doors are open for browsing, copying, printing, scanning and faxing. Computers are available with no appointment necessary.
