Make Me Art Musea Sonoma Book Release and Gala Celebration

Musea invites you to join us in person at Musea ~ Sonoma for the book release and gala celebration for Make Me Art by Musea Executive Director, Co-Founder, and Resident Chef and Winemaker, Jonathan McCloud.

The event is centered around a photojournalistic and poetry driven book series, inspired by his wife, Artist Shiloh Sophia, and features Jonathan's edgy photography of Shiloh Sophia in the act of art creation, as well as his beautifully crafted and engaging poetry to add the mesmerizing elements of 'story'. This book is a reflection of Jonathan's love and devotion for his wife, as well as their mutual passion and appreciation for art in its many forms and expressions and its potential to alter and shape consciousness.

The afternoon will include a live reading and viewing of the book with an opportunity for questions and conversation with Jonathan directly, offering guests the chance to enjoy his deeply philosophical and engaging art musings.

There will be hors d'oeuvres and beverages prepared by chef Jonathan himself, and an opportunity for attendees to enjoy the beautiful Musea Sonoma experience, including our redwood trees, gardens, bookstore, and consciously curated sacred space. Additionally, Musette Wines will be offering a 3 year vertical tasting of Barbera blends including a barrel tasting of the 2020 vintage as well as Musette Rose' and Sonoma Chardonnay.

We look forward to an engaging afternoon celebrating the release of Jonathan's one of a kind book, the debut of the Musette 2020, and renewed acquaintance with in-person gatherings. (California Sanitation and Distancing will be Observed.)

For those who are not able to attend the in-person, there will be a special Museum Show and exhibit created to highlight some of the images and poems from this book, which will be available to watch and view from August 18th at www.imusea.org
