Make It Lovable | Manchester

Make It Lovable | Manchester is a free, in-person creative AI buildathon for founders, builders, designers, students, creatives, and dreamers who want to turn ideas into real prototypes using AI.

This Manchester edition will take place at The University of Manchester (Roscoe Building), in a workshop room with a working-table setup, natural light, and windows overlooking trees, creating a calm, creative, and human-centred atmosphere for building, connecting, and experimenting with new ideas.

The event is officially supported by Lovable, an AI building platform that helps people create apps and websites through natural language. Every attendee will receive free Lovable credits to help bring their ideas to life. 🎁

Whether you’re deep into AI, just getting started, or simply curious about where technology and creativity meet, you belong here.

The challenge is simple:

Build something that solves a real problem in your daily life.

Expect a welcoming afternoon of short talks, a live Lovable demo, open networking, hands-on building time, mini demos, and guest reflections around creativity, innovation, AI, and human-centred technology.

No boring panels. No pressure. Just good people, big ideas, and a chance to leave with something real.

You do not need coding experience. Lovable is designed for beginners as well as experienced builders, so you can come with an idea or discover one during the session.

Please bring a laptop if you can, as this will help you follow along and build during the session.

You can also bring an idea you’d like to explore, but it is completely okay if you do not have one yet.

By the end of the event, the goal is not to have a perfect product. The goal is to start, experiment, and build something you can keep developing after the session.

Photos and videos may be taken during the event and shared on Lovable’s and Mindofruba’s social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let the host know on the day.

Info: Attendees start building their ideas using Lovable. Everyone is encouraged to send their first prompt within the first 10 minutes and focus on momentum rather than perfection.
