Join us for our second-ever Luna Lapin and friends sewing retreat, a joyful few days of sewing, storytelling and shared creativity in Kendal, home of CoolCrafting. Our first retreat sold out in just 4 hours, and we know many of you were disappointed at not securing a place, so we thought lets do it all again!
The retreat has been lovingly designed for the Luna Community and is a chance to stitch alongside like-minded makers and spend time immersed in Luna Lapin’s Little World. Whether you arrive knowing no one or bring a friend, you will leave having made something special and feeling even more a part of our wonderful community.
We want you to have the same experience as in our first retreat, so Luna will be bringing along another brand new friend!
The retreat is suitable for confident beginners and beyond, but you should have made a Luna Lapin before, with expert Masterclasses from Nicholas Ball covering a range of best-practice techniques and ample hands-on support from Sarah Peel.
Residential Sewing Retreat – 25 – 28th February 2027 (three nights)
A fully immersive experience: stay with the group and enjoy a relaxed, communal atmosphere throughout the retreat at the Castle Green Hotel. Breakfast and Lunch are included every day, plus Friday’s evening meal at the Hotel. There is an optional dinner in Kendal town centre, which is to be paid for individually on the night.
Single Occupancy Retreat – £960 with a £360 non-refundable deposit to secure your place and 2 further payments of £300 (due September 30th and January 10th)
Double-occupancy room for one person attending the retreat and one hotel guest (breakfast included for both) at £1050 with a £550 deposit. non-refundable deposit to secure your place and 2 further payments of £250 (due September 30th and January 10th). You can choose to add your partner to the Friday night evening meal for an additional cost of £39 – bookable here
Double-occupancy room for two people attending the retreat at £1570 (£785 per person and payable together),with a £570 non-refundable deposit to secure your place and 2 further payments of £500 (due September 30th and January 10th)
Day Guests – 26 – 28th February
Perfect for those who live locally or prefer to arrange their own accommodation. Three Lunches and the Friday Night Evening Meal are included in the price. The off-site Saturday evening meal is optional.
£520 per person, including a £160 non-refundable deposit required to secure your place and 3 further payments of £180 (due September 30th, January 10th)
