About this Event

Join Stay Curious Artist for a cozy evening of collaging and creativity! We’ll decorate recipe card templates using a curated collection of papers, vintage-inspired ephemera, stickers, and collage materials. Create beautiful recipe cards for your favorite meals. You’ll leave with a unique set of handmade recipe cards ready to keep, gift, or use in the kitchen. No experience necessary—all materials are provided.

What to Bring

You’re welcome to bring a few of your favourite recipes if you’d like to copy them onto your cards or share them with others during the workshop. If you don’t have recipes in mind, you can create your cards first and fill them in later.

If you enjoy working with your own crafting tools or have personal papers, photographs, or ephemera you’d like to incorporate, feel free to bring them along. That said, there’s absolutely no need to bring anything, I’ll have plenty of collage materials, papers and supplies to use.

While You’re Here

The workshop takes place inside Stay Curious Artist's current art exhibition at Loohoo, featuring a collection of whimsical food-inspired artwork celebrating recipes, keepsakes and collecting. While you’re here, you’re invited to wander through the exhibition, explore original paintings, browse art prints and themed sticker packs, and even interact with the exhibition.

Loohoo is also home to a wonderful selection of handmade goods from local artists and makers, making it the perfect cozy space to spend an afternoon chatting about art, creativity, and our shared love of crafting and collecting meaningful things.

Accessibility

Loohoo is located on the ground floor with step-free entry. A washroom is available on the same level, however, it is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that the entrance doorway is relatively narrow (25") and may not accommodate all wheelchair sizes.
