Chesapeake: A Wood Mosaic Workshop

Spend an evening where creativity meets craftsmanship—and leave with a piece of art that feels both timeless and entirely your own.
In this workshop, you’ll create Chesapeake—a design that nods to the quilt squares crafted by generations of hands but sharpens them with clean, modern lines. It’s a bridge between old and new, the kind of piece that feels at home in a farmhouse kitchen or a sleek city loft.
Instructor Joy Donely will guide you step by step as you sand, stain, and piece together every hand-cut bit of wood, no experience required. Think of it like quilting—only instead of fabric, you’re working with rich, textured wood.
We’ll be gathering at Unmapped Brewing Co.—because creativity pairs best with a good coffee in hand and a table full of people doing something new together.
You’ll leave with:
A finished Chesapeake wood mosaic 15" x 15"
A new appreciation for the mix of tradition and design
