About this Event
Do you want to get more out of what you read, watch or listen to? Do you write things down all the time, but find it goes nowhere? Do you find your papers are as scattered as your thoughts?
If any of the above apply--This workshop is for you!
Attendees will learn the basics of two classic methods of making notes for long term use, the commonplace book and zettelkasten. We'll explore how these techniques can be employed physically (pen and paper) or digitally through powerful free software. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop.
Toronto Public Library is committed to accessibility. Please call or email us if you are Deaf or have a disability and would like to request an accommodation to participate in this program. Please let us know as far in advance as possible, and we will do our best to meet your request. At least three weeks' notice is preferred. Phone 416-393-7099 or email [email protected]
