In this class, you'll learn essential woodworking techniques as you create a custom mallet—a tool that's both practical and beautiful. Guided by experienced instructors who are passionate about woodworking, you'll gain valuable insights into selecting the right wood, shaping and assembling components, and applying a durable finish to enhance both the look and functionality of your mallet. No matter your skill level, our Woodworker's Malate Class welcomes beginners and seasoned woodworkers alike. We provide all the materials and tools you'll need, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience. Feel the satisfaction of crafting something with your own hands, from start to finish, in a supportive and creative environment. At Rockler, we believe in fostering a community of craftsmen who share a passion for woodworking. This class not only equips you with practical skills but also connects you with like-minded individuals who appreciate the artistry and satisfaction that woodworking brings. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
