Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion. September 29th is National Coffee Day! This is a must for any coffee enthusiast or a gift for those who are! In this class students will select a beautiful hardwood turning blank. You will learn the basics of turning, specifically turning the handle portion of the Rockler Coffee Scoop Turning Kit (included in class.) Experienced and non-experienced woodturners alike are all welcome in this class! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes. Considering a 1-on-1 private Instruction?
