In this comprehensive class learn the art of turning segmented bowls, in this class the instructor will walk you through how to easily transition from different types of wood to another on a lathe. How to sharpen the tools you are working with and how to choose design elements from your bowl to accentuate. Finely they well go over the finishing process and sanding of each bowl and how it can change. Spots are limited, be sure to sign up early! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
