In this class you will go over a classic intro to furniture project, in designing and fabricating a wooden stool, this class will give any new woodworker a wonderful look into the details and techniques used by furniture makers around the world. Including doweling, rabbits, and more. This class is the best way to learn your way around a shop, as it will use a plethora of tools such as the band saw, table saw, surface sander and more. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
