About this Event
Step into a world of whimsy and fine craftsmanship in this creative workshop focused on building a miniature birdhouse or fairy house entirely from fine silver metal clay. Perfect for artists, jewelry makers, and imaginative spirits alike, this class blends sculptural design with the magic of working in precious metal.
Participants will learn how to roll, cut, texture, and assemble fine silver metal clay to construct tiny walls, roofs, doors, windows, and charming decorative details. Natural textures, hand-formed elements, and playful embellishments bring each miniature structure to life, whether you envision a cozy birdhouse or an enchanting fairy dwelling.
Once the forms are complete, pieces are carefully dried and kiln-fired, transforming the clay into solid fine silver. After firing, you’ll refine your creation with light finishing techniques to enhance details and add a soft silver glow.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind miniature silver birdhouse or fairy house—perfect as a keepsake, display piece, or magical accent—along with the skills and inspiration to continue exploring sculptural forms in precious metal clay.
