About this Event
Come spend a relaxed afternoon with us creating your own stained glass plant propagation station, let's shake off those winter blahs and make glass magic happen!
Spring is right around the corner, it's the perfect time to perk up your windows and make some new plant-babies in your own handmade stained glass propagation station.
Propagating plants is as easy as it gets--grab your favorite plant and make a little snip, pop the cutting into water, and watch it grow new roots to become a new baby plant.
Participants will get a brief history and overview of the Tiffany copper-foil stained glass method while you choose your own glass from a large selection of pre-cut glass pieces in a wide array of colors, textures, and opacities and then design and create your own unique piece of window art.
No previous experience in glassmaking (or plants), is needed! All materials needed to create and hang your plant propagation station will be provided and all participants will leave with their completed piece of stained glass. Note: this workshop is scheduled for 3.5 hours, you may need more, or less, time to complete your piece, please allow for some flexibility.
Don't fancy plants but want to join in? This project can easily be adjusted to omit the propagation tube and tube-assembly to create a beautiful and unique suncatcher!

This event is indoors and is rain-or-shine. At least 3 participant-signups are needed for this class to run. You will be contacted in the event of cancellation.
