Eastern Iowa Art Academy is teaming up with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for a brand-new collaborative workshop experience—designed to bring color, personality, and handmade charm to your garden or indoor plants!Join us for a hands-on class where you’ll design and create a vibrant fused-glass plant stake—the perfect way to show off your style in your favorite planter or outdoor space. Using an array of colorful glass pieces, you’ll create and build your own stunning
2”x8′′ glass artwork that stands out amongst the greenery. We will even attach a metal stake to the back to easily get it into the ground too!
No experience needed! ICCGS’s Instructor will guide you step-by-step, and all materials are included. You will learn to cut small pieces of glass to create a design of your choice. After the workshop, your custom piece will be transported to the Iowa
Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for professional glass fusing with kiln firing—bringing that finished look you can’t get anywhere else.
