Whether it’s for a partner, sister, mother, or best friend – one-of-a-kind fine silver jewelry expresses just how special you consider them to be! Buying hand-made and local is fantastic, but being able to make it yourself, is a step beyond!

This highly interactive, beginner class is designed to introduce you to creating Fine Silver Metal Clay jewelry for yourself or a loved one for Valentine’s Day. You will have the option to create a pendant or a pair of dangle earrings. You’ll chose from a variety of available texture plates to add texture and dimension to your piece. Once your piece has dried, you’ll refine the piece and prepare it for firing.

While a variety of shapes and textures will be available, special valentine hearts and textures will be available to choose from for this class.

All the tools you need will be provided for your use during the class and the cost includes enough fine silver clay for you to make a pair of earrings or a pendant, as well as jump rings or earwires.

Your pieces will then be fired and polished for later pick-up, in plenty of time for Valentine’s Day.

NOTE: If you have not ever used metal clay before, we highly suggest/recommend that you sign up for Kara's one hour intensive session, going on just prior to this class. It will get you up to speed on how to handle and store your clay and simple but necessary tips and tricks.
