MetroParks hosts its annual fall day of service, Make a Difference Day, on Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at 13 different sites across Five Rivers MetroParks. From planting trees to trail maintenance, volunteers are needed for 18 different projects that help prepare the parks for the winter season.
Participants should dress for the weather and the activity in which they will participate. Supplies will be provided depending on the project, but individuals may want to bring gloves and a refillable water bottle.
