About this Event
Thanks to valuable input from the community, a lot of dedicated effort has gone into building the program over the past few months. Much progress has been made, and Immersive Tech Week (ITW) at De Doelen in Rotterdam is the perfect opportunity to share updates—and more!
Below is our full program at De Doelen in Rotterdam from December 4 to 6.
There are separate Eventbrite pages for the sessions other than the Update below on Wednesday, December 4, 2025.
Wednesday, December 4:
Update CIIIC - Location: Feestzaal
11:30 - 13:00
During a roundtable discussion, we will share key developments, and get the first Calls out. We will answer the question: What can you expect from CIIIC in the next six months?
Thursday, December 5:
SBIR IX - All about the CIIIC Action Line Innovation and Demonstration Projects - Location: Feestzaal
11:15 - 12:15
Through SBIR, CIIIC will collaborate with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) to launch innovation projects. By presenting societal challenges in partnership with public applicants (contracting authorities), we aim to foster impactful solutions. To ensure these organizations fully understand SBIR and the benefits of IX, we will be hosting an informational session.
Innovation Agenda - Update and conversation - Location: Feestzaal
13:45 - 15:15
Over the past year, extensive work has been done to gather the community’s insights on opportunities, challenges and new ideas for IX. This collaborative effort has led to the creation of the CIIIC Innovation Agenda: a structured approach designed to address core needs through various action lines. We are eager to present our progress and work alongside the community to help them take ownership of the Innovation Agenda. What does it entail, and how can it connect to individual projects and ideas?
Friday, December 6:
Public Values - Code and Self Test - Location: Breakout Room
14:15 - 15:15
CIIIC places a strong emphasis on securing public values. A key tool in this effort is the public values self-test. To build a robust framework for public values, CIIIC enlisted Public Spaces, Waag Future Lab, and the Rathenau Institute. In this session, these organizations will present their findings and lead a discussion to deepen understanding and engagement.
Collaborative IX Ecosystem - A community of communities: Location: Feestzaal
15:30 - 17:00
On of the key goals of CIIIC is to foster greater connection and reduce fragmentation within the IX industry. Every action line of the program is designed to support this goal. AT the same time an increasing number of initiatives, networks, and organizations are working to strengthen the IX field as well. How can we bring these efforts together in a smart and engaging way? What are the critical areas where collaboration is essential? How do we make sure that information and opportunities reach all corners of the IX field?
Plus closing drinks afterwards!
