Join Writing Our Legacy and Diversity Lewes to share your experience of Sussex Police and help inform how we can use storytelling to improve EDI in police practice and policies.
The workshops are free and will take place at Lewes Depot. They are aimed at BPOC people living, working or studying in Sussex. The guest artist for all three sessions is Akila Richards.
- Food and drink refreshments will be provided.
- This is a series of three workshop in total.
- Each session will involve different making opportunities
- The sessions will provide experience in oral storytelling, creative writing, and various visual arts.
- All sessions will be fun and open to all - no experience is necessary !!
Dates:
23rd & 30th of June 2024 | 12pm-2pm
Please tell us if you have:
- Any access needs.
- Dietary requirements.
- Or if there are any topics you'd like to cover in the sessions (or you can tell us on the day).
- We can also pay for your travel to and from the workshops if needed.

The workshop will take place at Lewes Depot, which is right next to Lewes train station.
